The Divo bender was born with 3 objectives in mind. We wanted to maximize the cutting edge without sacrificing any comfort in hand, keep a fairly low tip for utility cutting while maintaining a belly for slicing, and focus on a single deployment method to allow the detent to be perfectly dialed in. With that brief, the Bender was born.

The Nip-L began with a simple idea: bring the spirit of the original Nip into a larger format. Divo Knives — Kevin and Colin — had explored the design before, but this version needed more than added size. It called for new proportions, new balance, and a lock that suited the design. That idea became the Nip-L.
This is not simply a stretched Nip. The geometry, grip, and balance were reworked to make the knife feel right at this size, while keeping the original's clean, purposeful character.
