About Us

Divo Knives was formed when Kevin Johnson (@LeftyEDC) and Colin Maisonpierre (@cm_knifedesigns) teamed up to design the Stout.

Kevin, a gear reviewer on YouTube, had a couple of Colin’s knife designs come across his desk. He realized they had a similar taste in aesthetics, and he sent Colin a sketch of a design he thought would be great for everyday carry. This was the beginning of the Stout, and Divo knives as a company.
